Haslemere is a great base for walkers and off-road cyclists to explore the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the South Downs National Park.
On arrival at Haslemere station pop in to the Information Hub on the forecourt next to the main entrance. Local volunteers will be on hand to welcome you and give you first-hand information about the local area. - Take in the incredible views from the Temple of the Winds at Black Down and, in season, enjoy the acres of fragrant purple heather on this protected National Trust heathland site

- Stretch your legs with a walk around the National Trust Swan Barn Farm, from the medieval dipping well, past a traditional orchard and through meadows into ancient woodland. Starts on the High Street.
