Walk Description

Not quite a planes, trains and automobiles walk, but with a combination of trains, buses and your own two feet this sustainable transport walk is way better for the planet!

Why not spend the day discovering how public transport links together to help you explore the beauty of the Surrey Hills.

Meeting at Farnham station, a ride on the 19 bus will take us to Frensham Great Pond. From there it is a beautiful walk across to Bourne, before taking the bus back to Farnham.

On this unique, linear walk  we will experience aquatic, heathland and woodland habitats. Walking through beauty spots such as Frensham Pond and Farnham Heath, you’ll explore this stunning natural landscape, and learn about the incredible and rare species who call this area home.
