Isle of Wight

Walk Description

The walk starts from outside Ryde Esplanade train station and heads east along the seafront. After 1 mile we come to Appley Tower, a Victorian mock castle tower that overlooks the beach. We continue along the coastal path enjoying the views across the Solent before arriving at the small seaside village of Seaview This beautiful seaside village boasts some excellent coastal views, a beach that reminds you of holidays gone by, and where we will stop for lunch. There are some great cafes and pubs to discover. After a tour of the village, we will head back in the direction we came with a walk through the Alan Hersey Nature Reserve and then continue along the coastal path back to Ryde Esplanade,
