Walk Description
A short, gentle walk from Alton Station, taking in historic sites and hidden green spaces of central Alton. The walk will end at the Allen Gallery cafe, where tea, coffee and cake will be available to purchase and – weather permitting – can be enjoyed in the beautiful, secluded garden.
The route is approximately 1 mile, largely flat but with one or two short descents/ascents.

Mary Hicks is involved with Walk Alton through the Alton 5-10 Walking Group as well as the Alton Womens’ Walkers. Mary is also a valued member of the volunteer team at the Allen Gallery.
